BIKING TRAIL
OVERVIEW
The longer of the two loops, this trail is classic Southwest slickrock mountain biking. Technical riding on sandstone waves, ledges, and dips, with a healthy dose of flowy singletrack mixed in. From the parking area, the trail makes its way out to the rim where cliff exposure may encourage more timid riders to take pause in some places - a great opportunity to take full advantage of the unequaled scenic panorama! - See Map |
OVERVIEW
Mostly slickrock with a few short sections of treed singletrack, Magic Carpet Ride creates more riding options on the mesa by connecting the TH road to the junction of the West and North loops. Cairns guide riders across the mesa out towards the rim through varied terrain that offers a few technical obstacles that are more friendly to intermediate riders than the slickrock on West Loop. - See Map |
OVERVIEW
This out and back option to the North Point can be an excellent option for intermediate riders who are still getting their wheels under them on the slickrock. This trail combines the the less technical western half of the North Loop with the moderate slickrock of Magic Carpet Ride . Offering varied terrain and an awe inspiring vista destination, this route has all the goodies with fewer mandatory technical challenges! - See Map |
OVERVIEW
The North loop provides the best scenic bang for your buck. Despite being the shortest loop, it packs in fantastic views, and interesting, technical riding. When combined with Magic Carpet Ride, this loop offers it all: technical and challenging slickrock, fun singletrack through the trees, and wonderful Southwest vistas - all in under 8 miles! As with any of the trails at Little Creek, do not mistake this shorter option for a beginner trail: Cairn based navigation is very difficult in places! - See Map |
