As we prepare to take you to the backcountry byways and scenic vistas surrounding Zion National Park, we feel it important to share the modeling principles which gave birth to Zion Adventure Company's overland experiences.
LEARNING IS PARAMOUNT When we interact with a high level of awareness, we create a venue for a truly unique experience of Zion. With an immense knowledge of the area, we offer an educational, amusing, and anecdotal opportunity to experience Zion as a local, a pioneer, a native, and a grain of sand tumbled through 200 million years of geologic history.
THE LAND TELLS US WHERE TO GO We manage the freedom of mechanical exploration in nature with great responsibility. We constantly listen to nature, trusting it to tell us where we must go and how gently we must tread.
LEAVE NO TRACE is relative, but its practice is imperative. We understand the delicate balance between visitation and preservation. Therefore, we engineered our vehicle to run on recycled vegetable oil from local restaurants, route our vehicle via historic routes, and forbid any resource collecting during our tours.
THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO VISIT ZION, all with great rewards. Overland is an opportunity to visit Zion in a way otherwise unavailable to many visitors of the canyon.
MOTORIZED VEHICLES YIELDS TO ALL other ways of travel. As a motorized tour, we yield to hikers, bikers, horseback riders, and campers who are sharing the land, doing our part to reduce our impact on their experience.
Zion Adventure Company maintains annual permits for Color Country BLM, Dixie National Forest, and Zion National Park.
