OUTDOOR MEDICAL COURSE
Wilderness First Responder Certification (WFR) is a 60 - 80 hour course for wilderness professionals and others who want a higher level of training or require WFR certification. Whether you spend a significant amount of time in the outdoors on your leisure time, are a guide, or you wish to join your local Search and Rescue Operation; a WFR certification is essential to being a reliable and competent resource in outdoor medical emergencies.
20223 - 2 Day Recertification Course: 11/26 - 11/28
Details
Our long time friend and instructor David Meade will be leading our course this year!
The WFR curriculum uses the principles of long-term care, improvised resources, and varying environmental conditions as the framework for learning. This course was created to provide not only outdoor professionals, but anyone who spends time outdoors and wants to increase their risk management skills with the knowledge needed to deal with crises in remote settings. The WFR is now the most widely recognized and most often required outdoor leader certification.
