From the Midwest to the West, Shelley finds joy and passion in whatever she pursues. The first twenty-two years were spent embracing life and learning about herself in Ohio, the land of the Buckeyes. From there it was on to Indiana to spend the next seven years teaching the wonderful world of music to young people in the public schools.
In the summer of 2003, Shelley and her husband Dave came to Springdale and discovered Zion National Park and Zion Adventure Company. Together they fell in love with everything about this area and knew this is where they wanted to be someday. Now, 2005, living out a dream, Shelley is in the place, she loves doing ALL the things she loves: teaching, playing, living, and loving life.
