“I came to Zion Adventure Company (ZAC) in February 2005 from Vancouver, British Columbia to be with an extraordinary group of people, to explore myself and others, and to live fully. I work in the shop as an outfitter and serve as a guide apprentice on ZAC guided trips.
In addition to my work with ZAC, I am a marine biologist currently working on the effects of small scale fishing on coral reef fishes of the Philippines. I have a varied past in both biological research and science education: teaching high school science in Namibia, working as a coastal resource manager in the Philippines, and investigating the role of buoyancy in diving energetics of California sea otters. While living in Utah, I am eager to learn more about fishes and natural history of the southwest.”
Enjoy.
