Dave is a light-hearted, tender person. He loves Zion, canyoneering, music, and chocolate chip cookies. His passion for traveling and exploring new places has opened the door to an endless world of outdoor adventure and fun.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Dave spent the first 25 of his life years in Ohio. His study of Music Education at Bowling Green State University provided many great opportunities to explore and experience the joy and power of music, our universal language. After graduating, he moved to Elkhart, Indiana and taught band for seven years to students in grades 5-12. Dave also enjoys playing trumpet, and has performed with various groups, including the Elkhart Symphony, and the North American Brass Quintet.
Zion is a special place to Dave. It’s magic drew him and his wife Shelley to move there in 2005. For him, Zion and Zion Adventure Company are, and have been the oil, canvas, and imagination creating spectacular, unforgettable experiences. Dave would love to see all people have amazing experiences that engage their senses and affect their lives. He invites you to come and play with us here in Zion!
