Prior to living in Springdale, I lived in Ohio and Indiana, teaching band in the public schools.  Besides teaching band camps, I spent summers exploring our National Parks. It was these trips that introduced me to the outdoors.  The summer of 2003 provided my first taste of Zion and overwhelming feelings of peace and freedom. In 2005, I traded the classroom walls for the canyon walls.  Now I enjoy a life full of the things I love: teaching, playing, learning, growing and enjoying life.
