Catrin Zambella

It was Socrates who said, "The unexamined life is not worth living," but it is Catrin who brings this very important message to ZAC's every day life. Her influential spirit has changed the way ZAC does business, from understanding the body-mind connection, to living a life of thoughtful meditation. No doubt, her love for Jonathan reached into the core of Zion Adventure Company and set his soul flying in ways still being discovered.

Catrin embodies a soul from many life-times ago; unbound, free, enchanted, and mystical. Yet she is very real, natural, and wild; like a beautiful dessert you are hesitant to order after a fine meal, but can't help the upwelling desire which consumes you the moment the sample tray is presented. She is deeply silly and child-like, unpredictable, and incredibly balanced.

Unlike many relationships where one partner is the yin and the other the yang, Catrin has helped Jonathan find the divide within himself and be his own challis of discovery and balance. And this is no small task. This balance has helped Jonathan and Zion Adventure Company grow with oak-like roots yet with the flexibility of bamboo. 

 Catrin does not work an every day experience as an outfitter or guide with Zion Adventure Company, but she does work everyday to create a worldly awareness of ZAC's lighthouse effect. And no better place than at the threshold of Zion National Park to cultivate this positive energy.  

We do hope you get to meet Catrin in passing as she stops in ZAC often to share her smile and check in on staff with her umbilical companion Massimo. Together, the encounter is predisposed to being nothing less than thoughtful, but often amazing.
