I think it is quite appropriate that the company I am a part of has "adventure" in its name!

I was born in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1987, and seven years later moved to a house in the woods in Little Rock, Arkansas.

While other children in Arkansas were spending their vacations at Disney World, my family spent a month every summer traveling West, visiting National Parks. Our Suburban was packed to the brim with camping gear, the six of us, and a small portable toilet in the back, conveniently meeting Dad’s desires to avoid stopping at every gas station. Our souvenirs were not Mickey ears, but “JuniorRanger” badges proudly received after completing programs in over 25 National Parks. It was during one of these family excursions that I first encountered Zion National Park.

After graduating from Ouachita Baptist University, I spent a year overseas living out of a backpack and serving people in eleven different countries. I returned to the States longing for a place of rejuvenation.

I was beyond stoked to find Zion Adventure Company, a place that met my combined hunger for learning, my passion for adventure, and my desire to serve people. The fact that I am living right outside of Zion National Park, one of the mostspectacular places on earth, is unbelievable to me!!
