I grew up rambling around the wooded hills and marshlands of Wisconsin, spending almost all my free time outdoors with my brothers and friends. I found ZAC during college, starting here as an intern in 1998. Two academic degrees and many teaching jobs later, I returned to Zion for the freedom and empowerment I found nowhere else. Over six years in Zion, I evolved a role at ZAC where I had ample opportunity to practice my favorite things: teaching, creating, exploring, and challenging myself.
In December 2009, my wife, Maya, and I decided to relocate from Springdale to my former home of Madison, Wisconsin. Though far from canyon country now, I have continued working with ZAC on various design projects, including graphics, photography, and this website.
All my best,
Nick
