Author Wynne Summers Offers Lecture and Workshop in Zion
Z-Arts! sponsors two great writing events next weekend with author Wynne Summers. Here are the event announdments; find more details on the Z-Arts! website. “Willa Cather” Film and Discussion with author Wynne Summers 7 PM, June 10, 2011 Canyon Community Center, Springdale, UT Free! Featuring a discussion of Willa Cather and her place as a Nebraska regionalist and artist. The evening begins with a short clip from the film “Willa Cather: The Road is All” followed by a discussion of two short stories: “Neighbor Rosicky” and “Paul’s Case.” This review is meant to explore the life of Cather and the scope of her works from her early university career in 1890 until her death in 1947. Non-Fiction Writing Workshop With Wynne Summers 9 AM – 4 PM, June 11, 2011 Canyon Community Center, Springdale, UT Cost: $10 Z-Arts!
